Year 2016 looks like Miranda Lambert's year as she can already show the world she has finally moved on from her past marriage failure with her newly-found love interest.
The US Magazine reveals that Lambert has been dating Anderson East, an R&B singer, for almost a month already. A report from Lambert's close associate also says that the two are really enjoying each other's company that they even spent their New Year together.
One of East's friends has commented that the engineer-turned-musician is a perfect rebound for the 32-year-old, "Over You" singer, Miranda. "She couldn't have picked a better dude to have fun with," East's friend said. "Anderson is the coolest guy."
Meanwhile, in the January issue of Cosmopolitan, Miranda speaks of her divorce from her 39-year-old ex-hubby.
"I just want to live a life full of everything. Some of that might mean nights on my porch crying, drinking whiskey and going, 'Man this sucks right now.' I don't necessarily want to know that I have really bad, long, lonely nights ahead of me, but I have had some, and I still have a bunch ahead of me," Miranda admitted.
It can be recalled that the ex-couple, who met in the set of reality show "The Voice," announced their divorce through the Us Weekly back in July 2015.
"This is not the future we envisioned. And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately," Miranda and Blake expressed in a joint statement.
Entertainment websites have also updated the fans on how Shelton has moved on from his split with his five-year-wife Miranda, reporting that the former has confirmed his romantic relationship with "No Doubt" singer Gwen Stefani on Nov. 4 last year.
The ex-married singers may have taken different paths as what their relationship statuses show fans. Whether they are being judged justly or unjustly, the world has seen how each of them was able to pick up their pieces. End of the day, they both want to make decisions that can truly make them happy.
