"Days Of Our Lives" spoilers are in and they reveal that Kate Mansi will soon leave the show. Mansi is popularly known for her character as Abigail Devereaux. The talk about Kate's exit on "Days" has been running for quite some time already.
And now, Serial Scoop confirmed that Mansi is indeed leaving "Days Of Our Lives." The news came as Mansi reportedly finished shooting her scenes. But she will still remain on the show until May 2016.
According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Mansi's contract expired last month and it looks there is no renewal for it. Soaps spoilers shared that there have been talks about "budget cuts" at "Days." With that being said, it is not surprising that there will be trimming of cast. If that is the real case then it is possible that Abigail will really have her final exit and that a recast will not happen.
Abigail played a major role in Chad DiMera's storyline who is played by Billy Flynn for the past months. She gave birth to a baby boy while she was taken hostage by her boyfriend who is a serial killer, Ben Weston played by Robert Scott Wilson.
In this week's episodes, Abigail will come out clean to Chad and tell him that he is Thomas' father. According to Christian Post, Chad will not believe Abby. Chad will even accuse Abby that she is only using Thomas as her way to get him back. But then, Chad will have a change of heart over time.
"Days" fans know that this time Abigail is telling the truth. She just needs to convince Chad that he is indeed Thomas' biological father. Celebrity Dirty Laundry shared that Chad will demand for another paternity test and Abigail is more than happy to do it. In the latter part, Chad will find out that he is indeed the father of Abby's son. But things will not go on smoothly for Chad and Abigail.
Since Chad already knows that he is Thomas is a DiMera then he will do the right thing for the sake of his son. "Days" spoilers tease that Chad will openly and warmly accept Thomas. At the same time Chad will also remember his deep love for Abigail and that will lead for a marriage proposal.
