The comings and goings of cast members in "Days Of Our Lives" has been noticeable for quite some time already. And now, "Days" is set to welcome another character in Salem.
According to Soaps She Knows, NBC's soap opera is in the hunt for an actor who can play the new character named Monahan. Monahan is around 50 to 60 years old who has an "authentic accent." Monahan's character is described as "a career criminal who has seen the inside of a cell more than a few dozen times."
With that background then he is definitely a tough one. He is known as a "tough SOB, not to be crossed, a con artist, a thief, and has played the game with some of the most dangerous people in the world."
Despite that strong description, Monahan's character has a softer side and that is evident when it comes to his family. As said, "Under his tough, sarcastic, smart-ass, somewhat charming exterior is a family man that will do anything he can to protect those he loves."
According to Soap Opera Spy, Salem has been known for its very high crime rate. And now that Monahan is set to come, then trouble seems to brew even more upon his arrival.
There is still no further news regarding Monahan's character other than his description. It is yet to be revealed who Monahan will be interacting with as soon as he arrives in Salem. But since it was mentioned that he is a "family man" then most likely he got family or relatives that are already in Salem. But the big question as to who they are is what the fans should look forward to.
"Days" films six months in advance. Given that, then the show's fans and viewers will be able to meet the new character by Spring 2016.
