EA Sports Confirms 'UFC 2' Coming This March, New Cinematic Trailer Released

In a previous report, EA has confirmed that a sequel to the hit MMA simulation title "EA Sport UFC" is coming. The announcement was made by the publisher via their official Twitter account saying, "The Wait is Finally Over! Tune in tomorrow." The accompanying pic has a number 2 inside an octagon. Following the Twitter post, EA released a teaser trailer of the "EA Sport UFC 2" with the promise to bring an "all new Knockout Physics System."

So when is "EA Sport UFC 2" coming out? According to GameSpot, EA has confirmed that "EA Sports UFC 2" will take-off in North America on March 15, 2016 for Xbox One and PS4. For the rest of the world, the game will be available on March 17.

EA has also posted this announcement on Twitter, saying "#FinishTheFight on March 15, 2016. Pre-order: https://bit.ly/1VFhGfP https://bit.ly/1VFhIUY"

Besides revealing a release date, EA unveiled a new cinematic trailer of "EA Sports UFC 2," giving fans a sneak peek at the enhanced graphics and some of the very famous faces in the UFC universe. The trailer also featured a quick clip from Rousey's recent unbelievable match with Holly Holm. As previously announced, the "EA Sports UFC 2" cover will feature female MMA fighter Ronda Rousey.

According to GameSpot, preordering the game will unlock the fighters Bas Rutten and Kazushi Sakuraba automatically along with a mystery fighter that will be revealed later. Speaking of the pre-order bonus, creative director Brian Hayes said in a statement, "Adding them is huge, and fans are going to go nuts when we reveal who the mystery fighter is. I can't wait."

"EA Sport UFC 2" will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Android and iOS.
