'The Bachelor' Recap: Seven Girls Eliminated, Lace Plays Bad Girl

"The Bachelor" 2016 premiere had everyone staring in front of the television as Ben Higgins got to meet the 28 girls that he will get to know including two familiar ladies from the previous "Bachelor" season.

Ben was a runner up in the "The Bachelorette" of Kaitlyn Bristowe. Hence, viewers already know him but he was re-introduced during the premiere of the show. Higgins made it clear that he wanted to find a wife in the show and have a relationship like his parents who are already together for 32 years.

"Finding my wife will make me a better man," he said. "I can't wait to meet the future Mrs. Higgins."

In the limo arrivals, Lauren B. was first to arrive and then Caila who ran out of the limo and leapt into Higgins's arms. But Lace was more forward when he kissed Higgins saying that she "wanted the first kiss."

Higgins was also surprised to see 22-year-old twins Emily and Haley who would speak together and finish each other's sentences. There is also a dentist Mandi who was wearing a giant rose on her head, a chicken enthusiast named Tiara, a Russian girl who doesn't speak English named Shushanna, Joele who came with a unicorn mask and even Maegan who came with a miniature horse, Fox News reported.

Aside from the weird contestants, Lace left a bad girl brand after she drank too much cocktail and became tipsy.

She appeared to be the show's villainess as she said, "I’m way prettier than everyone" while drinking wine. When Lace learned about Becca and Amber joining the show, who both came from the "Bachelor" season of Chris Soules, she said, "It's not fair ... I'm not going to let Becca get in my way."

News anchor Olivia revealed that she left her job for the "The Bachelor" which flattered Ben. Because of that, she received the "first impression" rose.

Meanwhile, Lace isn't done with playing bad girl as she came to interrupt Ben and Jubilee to ask for a second kiss which Higgins didn't give. But Higgins didn't want her to feel rejected.

"He made me feel special. Ben is my man and we all know it," Lace said.

But when Higgins gave the first impression rose to Olivia, Lace wasn't happy. She even said,"Who wants a f---ing virgin?" when Becca got a rose.

Lace received the final rose while seven bachelorettes went home. Lace wasn't very happy about it and grabbed Higgins for a private talk.

"You didn't even look at me once ... It was terrifying, [I thought] 'I'm going home,' " Lace said and Ben was frustrated saying, "The issue was I didn't look at you during the rose ceremony?"

Because of the actions of Lace, Caila said that she is "fifty shades of crazy," International Business Times reported.

The seven girls who were sent home were Lauren Russell, Isabel Goodkind, Laura Esselman, Jessica Moser, Breanne Rice, Tiara Soleim, and Meagan Miller (and her mini-horse), Star Pulse reported.

Meanwhile, Lauren Russell didn't accept the rejection well and went back to Higgins to convince him that she deserves to stay but Higgins is firm with his decision.

Apparently, there is a lot of drama that will occur in "The Bachelor" and fans will expect some more on the second episode of The Bachelor on Monday, January 11 at 8 p.m. ET.
