Each year, a list of the most expensive zip codes in America and California is released by Forbes. The ranking is based on the "price data for more than 29,500 ZIPs covering 95% of the U.S. population.”
This year, four properties from California made it to the list while there are three high-end homes from New York which joined the list of the most expensive zip codes for 2015.
Forbes worked with Altos Research to come up with the ranking releasing 500 Most Expensive ZIP Codes but what we will show you in this list are the top ten most expensive properties with additional detials as compiled by Mansion Global.
1. 94027 - ATHERTON CA. - MEDIAN PRICE: $10,564,038. Price is at $21.95 Million with six bedrooms and eight bathrooms on a 13,350 square feet lot.
2. 11962 - SAGAPONACK NY - MEDIAN PRICE: $7,416,538. Priced at $34.8 Million on a 12,000 square feet on 10 acres lot comprised of eight bedrooms and 10.5 baths.
3. 10012 - NEW YORK NY - MEDIAN PRICE: $7,302,117. A 7,241 square feet property with six bedrooms and 7.5 baths priced at $66 Million.
4. 81656 - WOODY CREEK CO - MEDIAN PRICE: $7,020,893. Featuring 22 bedrooms and 20.5 baths, the property is priced at $50 million which sits on a 22,165 square feet home on 244 acres lot area.
5. 10013 - NEW YORK NY - MEDIAN PRICE: $6,076,018. With a price of $65 Million, the property has seven bedrooms and seven baths with a lot area of 24,135 square feet.
