Unwritten Ettiquette Rules Every Seller Should Know

As a homeowner who is planning to sell your house, you must have done all you can in order to be able to sell your house at a value you so desired. However it would be best to remember these unwritten rules in order to get success in selling your house:

1. Do not lurk around your buyer. Nobody wants to be followed around by any anyone while checking out a favorite item inside a department store, so it goes the same with houses.

2. Let your buyers check out the house for themselves, you can be on the hearing and seeing distance, but not overly nosing them up.

3. Take your dog anywhere else except for the open house. Nobody wants any dogs as the background music while you are trying to show them around your house.

4. Leave important documents away from the eyes of your buyer. Do not ever leave them on a spot where it will easy for it to be found. This includes your utility bills, appraisal, inspection report, home warranty and any other major repair receipts. These are all the things that you buyers may want to look into when considering your home, but it's not good for selling.

5. Do not give your buyers any parking issues. If you please try to move your car so it will be easier to try and make a sale for the home you so wanted to already let go.

6. It's okay to put out a few refreshments for your guest. Yes even if you're trying to sell to them asset known as your house. It's always an appreciated gesture.

7. Patiently wait for feedbacks. As much as you've been dying to know the information that your buyers are going to decide, it would be nice to patiently wait for their big decision. It may take two days for a feedback.

8. Never be greedy. In any business transactions, not just in selling a home failing to negotiate could mean disaster and loss of sales. Learn that art and you will survive in any other endeavors.

Most of all, it's always best to listen to your professional realtor, follow their advice and goodluck!
