Celebrity Real Estate: San Francisco Giants All-Star Brandon Crawford Buys Scottsdale Home

San Francisco Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford has just found his new home base! As he signed on his six year, $75 million contract with the baseball team, the 29-year-old major leaguer purchased a Scottsdale, Arizona home for $1.6 million - which only makes sense, since the Giants head over there for spring training every year.

Known for his skills with the mitts, the Gold Glove winner, as well as his family, have definitely caught a good one: not only are they secure in a gated neighborhood, but the house also features amenities to make you feel like you're living in a resort, all throughout the 5,477 square foot home.

According to listing agent Aaron Church of Ventana Fine Properties, the residence is a "great family home," particularly because of its "great location, neighborhood, and custom home finishes."

Originally built in 2002, the home, found in Rancho Santa Fe, boasts of five en-suite bedrooms, six bathrooms, a den, a formal dining room, several fireplaces, high ceilings, and a newly remodeled kitchen.

Based on the listing, the kitchen received "new upgraded stone slab tops," as well as a Sub-Zero fridge and Dacor appliances. It also has an island with a breakfast bar, which opens up into the great room.

Not only that, but the home also has a Cantera Stone-covered patio and deck - which is definitely perfect for hosting the whole team at home. To complete the outside area, there is also a barbecue and fireplace, a pool with a spa, a sports court, and an in-ground trampoline.
