Luxury Gazebos: A New Trend in British Backyards

Crown Pavilions, a company that builds luxury gazebos, has reported a 23pc surge in sales as more and more Britons look for alternative ways of enjoying their gardens without relying on good weather.

Crown Pavilions has created outdoor buildings for Gloria Hunniford, Alan Titchmarsh and Duncan Bannatyne. According to its founder, Luke Dejahang, the demand increased because of the constant high winds and downpours, and these weather conditions forced the homeowners to stay indoors, Telegraph reported.

"Our customers all say, 'we don't use the garden half as much as we want to'. They are fed up with the miserable weather and want to utilize their gardens for more months of the year," Dejahang stated.

Garden gazebos can be very comfortable due to remarkable improvements to heating and insulation technologies over the years, he explained.

"We're seeing a huge increase in demand for fireplaces, underfloor heating, and hi-tech double-glazing," he added. "These are spaces that can now be used 12 months of the year."

The company started seeing increase in revenue just before the recession, and growth surged throughout the downturn. It claimed to be growing 50pc annually and turns over £10 million.

Dejahang said that people do not have to go to the Caribbean to enjoy the sun during winter and they wanted to stay home at Christmas. "They were also staying in their houses more, rather than upsizing. Garden rooms are a way of creating living space," he added.

For many years, Crown Pavilions has been building the world's best garden rooms. They have built their reputation on delivering excellent products using the best materials on the market. Their joiners are well skilled and tested with follow up after service.

To ensure the quality of the timber and keep it from rot and decay, every luxury gazebo and garden room comes with a 30-year guarantee.
