Like what was mentioned by Builder, the piece of real estate should have a notable kitchen. Home builders should take some time planning and designing the kitchen as this is the main focus of many house hunters. Dan Swift of BSB Design suggested that kitchen islands should not be too big. At the same time, islands that could double as a breakfast bar are trending these days and should be taken into account.

Upscale home buyers would also love to see spa master baths. The said bathroom should be bright and airy. Experts said that most master baths these days are ditching the tub and replacing it with spacious plush showers.

It was also revealed during the Builder's Show that many homes these days are equipped with new technology. This will definitely add to the value of the home that is being sold and will win the hearts of tech-savvy buyers. Some houses these days have USB outlets instead of the traditional ones and others have already provide one cable outlet with Wi-Fi, which could be used in every area of the home.

Lastly, a few home builders of today are investing on extravagant outdoor living space, because apparently, this is what many buyers are looking for these days. Outdoor living spaces have become more popular than indoor living rooms. A sliding glass door which connects the outdoor to the indoor is a plus when attracting consumers while a backyard or lawn with a kitchen and added amenities will win their hearts.
