Gwyneth Paltrow's building will soon rise on the Sunset Strip. Renderings of the project have been released to the excitement of those who love to party all night. This is because a posh private club will also spring up once the construction will be finished.
L.A Eater says that "Gwyneth Paltrow is going to give the nearby Soho House some serious heat when her Gensler-designed Arts Club finally gets built on Sunset Strip." Aside from the posh private club, there will also be "Japanese/Latino restaurant, lounges, eateries, and dining terraces."
According to L.A. Curbed, Gwyneth Paltrow's building is a massive 132,000 square feet structure. The Hollywood actress is partnering this venture with Gary Landesberg. Paltrow and Landesberg bought together "the old Hustler Store property on Sunset last spring."
Report says that this posh private club is called the Arts Club, and has its branch in London. It is noted that "the fancy, no-swearing-allowed club costs $2,000 to join, plus $2,000-a-year dues."
This new branch of the Arts Club in Gwyneth Paltrow's building will have a "vertical aluminum fins that would undulate and rotate along the building's facade, although fixed in position."
Some of the plans of the Gwyneth Paltrow's building have been disclosed. For example, the project will have a "smaller Hustler store structure," with a floor area of 17,800 square feet. It would also have its own creative office at the same time a gallery which would occupy the 1st 4 floors of the building. "The fifth floor would hold a dining terrace, screening room, and gym; the sixth floor would house 15 guest rooms for members; the seventh floor would have an eatery, another terrace, and a lounge for members." The "Japanese/Latino" restaurant that is mentioned earlier will be on the 8th floor. Then the final floor is the glamorous rooftop complete with a pool and another terrace.
