'Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation' Tom Cruise Knightsbridge Apartment Listed in 10 Most Expensive London Penthouses

"Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation" star Tom Cruise has a multi-million dollar residence. The area takes up the whole top floor of a historic structure and offers 10,000 square feet of luxurious living space. While, Cruise was working on the release of his latest action flick, his former home was creating a buzz as well.

Cruise's English penthouse is number one on Billionaire.com's list of The 10 Most Expensive London Penthouses. It has a price of £35 million, which is more than $54 million in US dollars.

The six-bedroom apartment sits atop a historic landmark in Knightsbridge, one of London's most elite neighborhoods. The penthouse also offers over 10,000 square feet of residential space; not to mention the largest of the six Hyde Park-facing terraces in the area.

And although it is unclear how much Cruise himself splurged for the stunning apartment, it is speculated that it cost him about $86,000 in US dollars. Considering the actor's $470 million net worth, this is not out of his budget, at all.

Following Cruise's moving out of the apartment, the owner hired services from the Paul Davies interior design firm to give the space a sleek, retro-inspired makeover. With mirror ceilings, dark oak parquet floors, and a Swarovski crystal embellished bar, the penthouse was made even more luxurious.

The interiors have been designed with a sophisticated ambiance in mind. The space has fine detailing and furnishings that provide the pinnacle of luxury in the heart of London's most exclusive areas.

Peter Wetherell, chief executive of Wetherell estate agents, shared with Daily Mail UK that the property is arguably the most opulent apartment currently on the market in Knightsbridge. Since it has been refurbished and up for sale, it is expected to get snapped up because of the amount of lateral space it provides. If it was an entire house with numerous floors, it could have been in danger of suffering on the market, but as a posh lateral, it will get a lot of interested buyers.
