Gwyneth Paltrow has joined the growing list of celebrities who are into buying a fixer-upper, as she recently purchased a home in Santa Barbara, CA for $4.9 million. The 43-year-old actress also opened up on her divorce from Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin.
Gwyneth Paltrow recently bought a 5,022-square-foot property in Santa Barbara, CA for $4.9 million, reports Trulia. The house is said to be a rare fixer-upper because it rests on the luxurious SoCal community, which features views from the ocean.
Paltrow's new property has four bedrooms and four bathrooms. Her purchase also includes the property next door, which adds three beds and three and a half baths.
The house also features floor-to-ceiling windows, which offer a majestic view of Southern California. Outside, the house boasts of a long swimming pool, which can be a great way to bask in the warm, sunny rays of California.
The "Iron Man" actress currently owns two properties - one in Malibu, CA and another in New York, NY. Paltrow also shares a massive estate with her former husband, Chris Martin - one in London and another in Los Angeles, CA.
The "Mortdecai" actress recently opened up about her divorce from the Coldplay frontman, which they famously called as "conscious uncoupling." According to E! News, Paltrow admitted that the process was not easy at all.
"When we said we're going to put the children first, we meant [it]... So we really tried, [and] that meant, 'I'm gonna check my s--t at the door, and I'm going to focus on all the reasons that I love you, that you're like my brother and my family forever and we'll deal with that stuff another time,'" she said.
The Goop founder also revealed during the interview that she has learned a lot of things in life and experienced a "massive software upgrade" when she reached her 40s. Paltrow, however, shared that she and Martin are on their best relationship ever following the separation.
