"For me, 'Star Wars' is much more than only a film," photographer Marco Grob said in an interview which appeared on Time.com.
Grob recently photographed the cast of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens", and the one appearing on the cover of Time Magazine this week is BB-8.
"The moment you meet BB-8, you build up some form of weird human connection... It has one eye that has a really cute way of looking at you. It's just incredible," Grob said.
Time magazine sounded so excited with sharing the cover photos to the diehard "Star Wars" fans around the globe. Grob, the person behind the cover photo shoot shared some of the scenes he personally experienced off-cam while working with the cast especially BB-8.
Aside from the ever-cute BB-8, Grob also shared his experience with R2-D2. "You get almost star-struck when you meet R2-D2. It's incredible when you see it getting unwrapped. It was certainly one for the books. Something I'll never forget."
Grob also mentioned working with the rest of the cast of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," especially the three "Star Wars" icons: Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and Mark Hamill. "I grew up with them."
Grob, a big Star Wars fan, has not even seen any of the trailers yet. "Sometimes it's good not to know too much. I wanted to have a feel on its own, to kind of do my thing [instead of] being influenced by anything I would have seen."
"[It'll be] like some kid with a bag of popcorn," Grob said on watching the "Star Wars: The Force Awakens". The movie will premiere on December 18.
