Google Chromecast will enable the Angry Birds fans to play the game on their TV.

As Google's announcement on Tuesday, the Angry Birds Friends from Rovio can now be played with media streamer for $35, which means that the popular birds are going to fly soon on a big screen. The tech giant also revealed a few other latest Chromecast-compatible games for Android and iOS, including a few family-friendly titles from Hasbro and Driver Speedboat Paradise from Ubisoft, Asia PC Mag wrote.

Also included in the list are Yahtzee Blitz, Monopoly Here & Now, Scrabble Blitz 2.0 and The Game of Life. It should be noted that all these games have already been re-mastered for the big screen and probably the greatest thrill of all is the chance to play on Chromecast the all-time favorite strategy board game, Risk.

Google Chromecast will also provide a split-screen experience for the mobile games. Based on the blog post written by Chromecast business development games head Wendi Zhang, only those who are playing "Monopoly Here & Now" can see the cards on their phones while the chosen moves to make will be shown on the TV.

The Chromecast will offer a fun-multiplayer experience as well as the chance to use the tablet or phone as the game controller while the game is happening on the big screen. Furthermore, Zhang assured the public that a lot more games will be made available on Chromecast.

According to Android Headlines, on the aspect of gaming front, a relevant PSA: Steam launched the much awaited Winter Sale that offers huge discounts on a lot of well-known games including the exclusive trading cards. The site also  released the first Steam Sale comic, called "Gingerbread Jake In: North Pole Noir." 

The gamers are now able to read the latest installment of the comic every day during the period of promotion. The sale will run until Jan. 4, 2016, 10 a.m. PT.
