"Game of Thrones" fans will definitely get a kick out of this! SPOTTED: Kit Harrington at Belfast for the screening of GOT Season Six. Does his character Jon Snow live after being brutally killed in Season 5?
Twitter posts just went crazy this week. Right after reports indicated that "Game of Thrones" Season Six is finally up for production at Belfast City, United Kingdom... and that Kit Harrington was spotted at the airport!
According to Express, Harrington, the actor who plays Jon Snow, was not expected to arrive at the set when the new GOT season is currently under production. This is because, as seen in Season Five, he was brutally killed by his fellow comrades of the Night's Watch. I'm sure GOT fans dreaded that moment. We all did.
However, now that Harrington was seen attending the set, does the "you know nothing, Jon Snow" mystery continue to baffle the fans? Is his death just a fake after all?
Well, numerous theories were formulated since Jon Snow passed, though. It was said that the old gods and the Lord of Light would save his character and revive him, the red priestess Melisandre to resurrect him, or that the character's spirit will live inside his dire wolf Ghost - the last one being the most unlikely since a wolf does not mean that Harrington had to attend the filming, right?
Although many speculations surround the possibility of Jon Snow being alive and well for the Sixth Season of GOT, Hollywood Life reveals that Emilia Clark, the actress who plays Daenerys in the series, believes otherwise. Not completely otherwise, though, as she thinks that there is just a 50/50 chance that Jon Snow would be brought back to life. She also added that since her character is much closer to getting the throne by the sixth season, maybe the revival of Jon Snow would not be that much of a bad idea.
