'Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice': Photographer Clay Enos Teases Zack Snyder's Son as Robin

Photographer Clay Enos' latest Instagram pic may have hinted that Zack Synder's son Eli will play Robin in the upcoming movie "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."

The "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" movie trailer that was featured during this year's San Diego Comic Con showed a quick snap of the boy wonder's graffiti-filled uniform displayed in Batman's lair. Although the DC comics character is not part of the movie and assumed to be dead, rumors have surfaced that Zack Snyder's son, Eli Snyder, will play the dead Robin in a flashback scene with actor Jared Leto who plays Joker, reports Heroic Hollywood.

The Heroic Hollywood report did not include other details about the rumored casting and even stated the news have yet to be confirmed by the director or the movie studio. Nevertheless, the site went on to describe Snyder's son's various accomplishments, which mostly is in sports. It seems that Eli Snyder is quite an athlete and was the starting quarterback on his highschool football team. This fall, Eli will be going to UCLA to study film. The young Snyder also appeared in a few of his father's movie projects such as "Sucker Punch","300" and "Watchmen".

Soon after rumors of Eli Snyder's casting came out, the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" director Zack Snyder took a photo of himself with son Eli and posted the image on his private Instagram account, with the caption "Boy wonder?", stated Batman News. And on Thursday, July 23, longtime Snyder movie set photographer, Clay Enos, reposted the image in his own Instagram account for everyone to see. Since then, the Snyder photo has gone viral and had fans thinking whether the news was true.

However, it is still unclear whether Snyder was having fun over the rumored casting and the Instagram pic was his way of making light of the situation. Or, it could go the other way, and potentially be a confirmation of the news. Regardless which one is true, fans would have to watch out for the movie's release to find out or for further casting news to be announced.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will open in theaters on March 26, 2016.
