Google Nexus 5 2015 against Samsung Note 5: Android M versus Android 5.1 Lollipop; It All Boils Down to OS

The Google Nexus 5 2015 handset has already gotten several tech enthusiasts asking how it will stand when compared to the latest Samsung Note 5.

Samsung has gained quite a reputation as the leading brand for smartphones. With their innovative and revolutionary products, the company has maintained their spot for years. But the soon-to-be released Google Nexus 5 2015 is seen as a possible threat for the tech giant.

Note 5, also known as "the most powerful and beautiful," was launched at Samsung's recent press conference held in New York City, and was officially made available for purchase just a couple of days ago. The Samsung Note 5 is the sixth variety of Samsung's Note series, subsequent to the release of Note Edge which happened last November.

Samsung Note 5 boasts of a 5.7-inch display and is said to weigh 171 grams, which is considerably less than its predecessors. It is furnished with 4GB of RAM and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. It also features an upgraded S Pen (stylus) and comes with a 5MP front camera and a 16MP rear camera.

Note 5 has a price tag of $249.99, Computer World said.

Nexus 5 2015 details have so far been speculative, while the specs of the Note 5 have been laid out in the open since its release. Reports say that the up and coming handset is packed with loads of interesting features.

Google Nexus 5 2015 phone will be released in two builds, one will be manufactured by Huawei, while the other is going to be from LG. It is said to feature a USB type C port, an extended camera, and a fingerprint scanner. It will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and will be running on Android M, the newest Android Operating System (OS).

Although there has not been any confirmed release date announced for Google Nexus 5 2015, many believe that it will be available on the market sometime between September and October this year, Digital Trends revealed.
