LG G Pad II 10.1 Release Update: Only an Enhancement of G Pad II 8.0?

LG has opted to introduce the LG G Pad II 10.1 two weeks earlier than its initial release schedule, which was supposed to happen at the IFA 2015 in Berlin. Reviews on the latest iteration to the series of LG tablets prove that the new device features significant enhancements from its predecessor, the G Pad II 8.0.

Chris Yie, Vice President of LG, said that the company had taken in some feedbacks from consumers and incorporated them in manufacturing the new and enhanced product. "Customers asked for a large display, bigger battery and faster performance all without raising the price. The G Pad II delivers on all counts," said Yie.

LG G Pad II boasts of a 10.1-inch screen, combined with 1920x1200 resolution and a pixel density of 224 ppi. The device is equipped with a 2.2 GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and has a backup of 2GB of RAM. It also features an internal memory of 16GB with a microSD slot. The tablet is also accompanied with a 100GB OneDrive cloud storage, which will be free to use for two years.

The new LG tablet also contains many features that promise to increase productivity. Consumers have the option of multi-tasking with the Dual Window feature. It is also pre-installed with the Microsoft Office system, as well as QuickMemo+ which allows users to make notes at any time from any screen, without needing to open the application.

The tablet is also equipped with the Reader Mode feature which grants the user an easier reading experience as a blue light from the screen backlight switches off when it is activated. It supposedly helps reduce blurred vision as well as fatigue.

In addition to all the features mentioned above, LG is set to disclose more details about the tablet's accessibility and value during the IFA 2015 event at Mess Berlin from Sept. 4 to 9.
