Robert Pattinson Stars as an Astronaut in Upcoming Film

Robert Pattinson just landed a lead role for a science-fiction film from Zadie Smith and Claire Denis. He will play the lead role as an astronaut who traveled outside of Earth. Furthermore, the plot will include depictions of what the solar system would look and feel like at in a present tone.

Robert Pattinson first made his major film debut when he played one of the lead character roles in the "Harry Potter" franchise as Cedric Diggory. After he showed his face on that movie, women started following his film adventures, making his name recognizable to filmmakers in the industry.

Because of which, he was then able to land a major role in the novel-based series "Twilight," the actor's window of opportunity to make it big in the industry.

Since then, he was casted in several other films that related to romantic comedies, real life-based movies, and independent films that did not make it that big in the box office as Twilight did.

The label for actor Pattinson as a leading man character player is about to change for his future careers as he had recently landed a role, one which is totally different from what he had played in his past movies.

According to AV Club, Pattinson was casted as the lead actor for Claire Denis' upcoming science-fiction movie, a completely different angle that Pattinson used to undertake in movies.

The production company that will stage the movie is the Paris-based company named Alcatraz Film. Since Zadie Smith, the writer of the bestselling novel "White Teeth" is also on board, the Denis-Smith team up is expected to make the new and different ride for Pattinson less unrealistic like that of his sparkling character in "Twilight."

Furthermore, the said untitled movie will also be co-written by Smith's husband, Nick Laird. Experts from the astronomical fields are also expected to work with the production such as Astrophysicist Aurelieen Barrau and artist Olafur Eliasson. Since a lot of professional help about the movie's plot and its direction are resorted by the production, the movie is expected to be more realistic than other sci-fi movies out there, reported The Guardian.

Robert Pattinson has landed a lead role once again despite of his lack of experience in the field of sci-fi movies; Zadie Smith and Claire Denis along with professional scientists are set to generate an outer space movie that could look as convincingly possible as ever.
