'Lara Croft GO' Available Now at $4.99 for all Mobile OS: Will it Make it Big Like 'Hitman GO' and 'Final Fantasy VII'?

"Lara Croft Go" is now available at $4.99 for iOS, Android, and Windows handsets.

Square Enix has recently revealed their latest work for the mobile platform, "Lara Croft GO." The game will be available for $4.99 through the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. Windows phones can even have it, too.

"Lara Croft Go" is the latest of Square Enix's treats for the mobile platform. "Lara Croft GO" design was handled by Square Enix Montreal Studio itself, which also previously released "Hitman GO," also for the mobile platform, Destructoid reported.

"Lara Croft GO" is a top-down view adventure game, exploring tombs, catacombs, and finding out secret places. In order to move to the "Lara Croft Go" next level, players need to solve puzzles and fight it out with the numerous monsters. Planning ahead is a requirement in "Lara Croft Go" since it is a turn-based game.

"Hitman GO" is also a turn-based game, it has got you solving puzzles to be able to get to your assassination target in a limited number of steps. "Lara Croft GO" will likely play out in much the same way here. "Lara Croft Go" gamers have to direct Lara to her designated goal with a limited number of moves. If you fail, you will have to start all over again, IGN reported.

Square Enix is actually buzzing with a lot of activities. Just last week, they released "Final Fantasy VII" just for the iOS platform, via the Apple App Store. As of the moment, there is no word if this game will also be made available for Android and Windows as well.

Square Enix also released some screenshot images, giving its excited fans a sneak-peak on what to expect from the game visually.

"Lara Croft GO" will be available for download starting Aug. 27, and is available for the iOS, Android, and Windows devices.
