HTC Aero/ Hero/ One A9 Flagship Device Update: 'Superior Handsome Device' with MediaTek Helio X20 Tricluster CPU Comes in Sept. 6

HTC is to release another flagship handset, pegged to be a "superior handsome device," this Sept. 6--and it will either be called HTC One A9, HTC Aero, or HTC Hero.

HTC CEO, Cher Wang revealed last June that a new handset will be coming out this October. Many fans have various speculations as to what the new device will be called and when it will be unveiled. But another leak has recently emerged and it suggests a Sept. 6, 2015 release date.

HTC leaked photo was initially seen on the company's Weibo account, GSM Arena reported. Although the text on the image was in Chinese, it was later translated and the caption reportedly says that "fans can anticipate a superior handsome device."

HTC fans speculate that the upcoming phone will likely be called either HTC Hero, HTC Aero, or HTC One A9.

HTC Hero (if this is the final name) specs are projected to be powered by a MediaTek Helio X20 ten-cores tricluster CPU, and will be supported by 4 GB of RAM. It is also said to come with a graphics card, Mali-T880 MP4, Gadgets.NDTV reported.

HTC Aero's (if this is the final name) screen size remains unknown, but rumors say that it might sport a QHD screen resolution, sheltered by Gorilla Glass 4. It is also reported to be equipped with 2.5D curved edges.

HTC One A9 (if this is the final name) rumors about the design started going around last week with the leaked photo uploaded online, showing what the case will possibly look like upon its release.

HTC fans (and even Apple iPhone fans) will likely be disappointed to know that based on the pictures, the handset appears to bear a huge resemblance to the iPhone 6, GSM Arena reported. All these claims are so far not backed up by concrete evidences, therefore it is highly suggested for fans to wait patiently and stay tuned for more official updates from the manufacturer.

HTC Aero/ Hero/ One A9 is estimated to arrive this coming Sunday, Sept. 6.
