iOS 9 Beta Test Ongoing before its Official Release Date on Sept. 9; Longer Battery Life, Multi-Tasking Keyboard Incorporated for 1.3GB Space Requirements Only

Apple's iOS 9 is scheduled to roll out in a few days, and people over at the said company are currently busy ensuring that the unveiling will go smoothly. A beta for the upcoming operating system is now being tested.

iOS 9 is also said to work fine on previous iPhone and iPad models provided that it is currently running on iOS 8, Apple announced.

iOS 9 major release at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, San Francisco on Sept. 9 is also rumored to happen, simultaneous to the beta testing. Apple fans speculate that two new iPhones, the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, will be presented along with the latest OS.

iOS 9 is reported to come with several massive and modern features. What more is that unlike prior updates which needed at least 4.6 GB, the new iOS 9 only requiremes 1.3 GB of free space to enjoy enhancements such as a fresh and upgraded Siri, which is said to be the coolest thing to come out of the new iOS. Now, the playful Siri will reportedly have fewer word errors.

iOS 9 will also have multitasking features for smooth functioning. With the iOS 9, some current and future devices will get some improved keyboard multitasking features including several components that will enable users to proceed to a second app without closing the one being currently used.

Longer lasting battery is also an added feature. An improved battery life is another feature that Apple users are anticipating from the Apple iOS 9. The company previously confirmed that the iOS 9 will come with a low power mode feature will give users 3 additional hours.

New app to help collect the news will also be present. This modern News app will organize the latest online news according to the user's reading preferences.

iOS 9 is available for beta testing before its official release a few days from now, Tech Radar reported.
