'Elder Scrolls VI: Skyrim 2' Update: 'Fallout 4,' 'Doom,' 'Dishonored 2' Released First, 'Skyrim 2' Not Priority in 2015

"Elder Scrolls VI: Skyrim 2" is not coming anytime soon.

"Elder Scrolls" series' game developer Bethesda may not be able to deliver the "Elder Scrolls VI: Skyrim 2" just yet because of some priority issues. Fans will need to wait a little bit longer before the next installment arrives.

"Elder Scrolls VI: Skyrim 2" game developer may need to re-assign their manpower towards the development of "Fallout 4" which is scheduled to be released in November. Thus, Bethesda needs to prioritize "Fallout 4" and will resume work on "Elder Scrolls VI: Skyrim 2" after the release of Fallout, Christian Today reported.

"Fallout 4," "Doom" and "Dishonored 2" will also keep the boys busy over at Bethesda, for these two other games are also set to be released in 2016. Thus, "Elder Scrolls VI: Skyrim 2" does not have a chance of making a 2015 release.

As Pete Hines, VP for Marketing, who got down for an interview with MCV U.K., said, "I think this ['Fallout 4'] can top 'Skyrim.' It could be our biggest release ever. But we will see. It is part of my job to build the megaphone that we hold up to the game, and the game decides how loud it goes. Just how big it is going to be is hard to say. 'Skyrim' was a massively big deal."

Bethesda is also busy with its game enhancement of "Elder Scrolls Online." However, support for Elder Scrolls V has ended about two years ago, before Bethesda started working on "Fallout 4," Vine Report reported.

"Elder Scrolls VI: Skyrim 2" game director Todd Howard said that they want to take their time to develop the sixth installment. Information will be made available once they are ready with it, as they do not want to release a half-finished product. Hines, on the other hand, already denied the rumors that a 2016 nor a 2017 release will happen with the latest "Elder Scrolls" franchise.

"Skyrim" first installment has been able to make 3.4 million copies worth of sales, just for the first two days of the release. It was released on Nov. 11, 2011 (11.11.11). As of June 2013, Skyrim has produced over 20 million copies worth of sales.
