"The Vampire Diaries" season 7 will no longer have Nina Dobrev, but fans have been left in the open with regards to the show as no other news came after it. The seventh season is due to air next month.
"The Vampire Diaries" season 7 will still push through as another main character of the show will stand up and shine. The cast is also quick to respond with regards to the future of the show, saying that the incident has opened some doors and the best season for the show might yet come.
"The Vampire Diaries" season 7 new leading lady Candice King spoke to TVLine last Sept. 2 about her role in the season. King said that her character will be stronger in the new season, both physically and emotionally.
"We're going to see Caroline get her bite back. We'll see her coming in as a bada**, and sometimes she might act without thinking things totally through. This specifically applies to Caroline's stance against the Heretics, whom she "doesn't like or trust very much," said King via TVLine.
"The Vampire Diaries'" 28-year-old actress also shared some exciting news over her Instagram account. She recently posted that she is on her way to becoming a mother, with "The Fray" guitarist, Joe King.
"Sometimes a Saturday is best spent painting T-shirts and taking an awesome family photo. Happy Monday everybody! #ThatAintNoBurritoinMyBelly Thank you to our friend @softspiritstrongfor coming over and snapping this sweet pic," read her Instagram post.
King has shared her "the bun in the oven" news to the cast and crew of "TVD" and they are all supportive of her, she said. Though nobody knows yet on what will really happen on the show when her belly starts to grow.
"Every single season, we think we know the way it's going to go, but it always changes by the end. It could really go anywhere," says the TVLine report.
"The Vampire Diaries" season 7 will be aired on Oct. 8.
