iPhones' older models can be trade-in for cash.
iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus release is here and more than a few companies have already been offering users to trade-in their old iPhones for cash.
Gazelle, a leading consumer electronics trade-in site, is currently offering one of the best deals for iPhone trade-ins. The company is ready to pay up to $480 in cash for your old iPhone. They are specifically looking for the iPhone 5S, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, according to a report by Apple Insider.
iPhone mobile users can trade-in their older models in Sept. 2 and Sept. 9, where a higher selling rate is expected. Based on experience, the prices of old iPhones will dramatically go down once new models are released. Gazelle released an official statement for the deal.
"Offer only valid on iPhone 5S, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus through September 9, 2015. Gazelle will guarantee that they will offer at least $1 more than your carrier (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile or Sprint or Apple only) for that model device," Gazelle added in their statement.
"Gazelle will guarantee the trade-in value only and no other offers or promotions that carriers may bundle with that offer," the statement went on to say.
Here is another list of trade-in prices for good condition, 16GB models for the Verizon iPhone.
- iPhone 5S for $201
- iPhone 6 for $387
- iPhone 6 Plus for $441
If you have finally decided that you are going in for the upgrade when the latest iPhone arrives, now is the time to act on it.
iPhone users of older models can get an additional funding for the new phone by trading it now at Gazelle. If in case selling it is preferred over a trade-in, there are a few websites that can cater to this need, like eBay and Craigslist.
