'Attack On Titan' Season 2 Release Date and News: Shiganshina Trio May Bring Levi Ackerman to His Death

Fans are not giving up snooping for the release date and other news on "Attack on Titan" season 2. Aside from those updates, fans have continuously speculated of its plot including the plight of its main characters.

Youth Health Mag says that rumor about the death of Captain Levi Ackerman is getting louder online. Many are convinced that if season 2 of "Attack on Titan" would follow the chapter 73 storyline, then by all means the "next story arc will involve Levi's death after he risks his life trying to save the Shiganshina trio, Armin Arlert, Mikasa Ackerman, and Eren Yaeger."

It is also being promised that the season 2 would give a detailed account concerning the closeness of Ymir and Krista Lenz. If remembered, season 1 has depicted the closeness of the two characters including how they clearly put their trust on each other. However, fans have a theory of Krista's real identity. Many think that she is "Historia Reiss - daughter of Rod Reiss - and is the real heir to the throne." To explain the fondness of Ymir towards Krista, it is also believed that he knows that truth, and that he is keeping her away from any danger and harm.

Latinos Health also states similar information regarding the story arc of "Attack on Titan" season 2. It may follow the first season having several story arcs from 34 different chapters of the manga. The story arc of season 2 may be kept under wraps, but director Tetsuro Araki has already confirmed that the anime would stay as close as possible with the manga's story line, thus the development of the anime has to wait "until the manga's story line further progresses."

In addition, the release date of "AoT" season 2 has not been revealed but Araki has told Anime News Network that it will surely return in 2016.

In the meantime, fans will just have to enjoy first the second part of the movie of "Attack On Titan" which will soon hit theaters on October 2015.
