While a release date for the sophomore season of the sci-fi series is yet to be announced by the show's creators or the giant streaming service, rumors are rife that the second season will be exploring Rajan's dark side, which is said to be triggered by his and Kala's breakup.

"Sense8" season 2 spoilers from Vine Report claim that the upcoming episodes of the Netflix original series may finally show Rajan's dark side. According to the outlet, Purab Kohli, who plays the role in the series, expressed interest in exploring his character's dark side in the upcoming season.
"Love is a strange thing... and Rajan surely feels a heavy surge of it for Kala," the actor said.
Rajan and Kala are engaged, but the latter has clearly expressed her fondness and interest over Wolfgang. While Wolfgang encouraged Kala to marry Rajan, it seems like the latter will still choose to be with Wolfgang and this will trigger Rajan's dark side.
"I absolutely agree, he's too good to be true and I'm hoping he reveals some shades of grey in the seasons to follow," Kohli added.
Meanwhile, fans are already wondering when the show's season season will air on Netflix. According to Netflix Life, "Sense8" Season 2 may premiere on June 3, 2016 if the show follows the same pattern as those of the online streaming giant's original series.
The publication mentioned that Seasons 1 to 3 of "House of Cards" pretty much aired at the same month, which leads the outlet to the estimated release date. However, given that the cast and crew were not aware that the show will be renewed until last month, it could set production back for two months, which means that the show may air at a later date.
