'Wonder Woman' Movie Update: Storyline Focuses on the Amazonian's Demigod Origins; See Her First in 'Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice' in 2016

"Wonder Woman" will commence shooting this November.

"Wonder Woman" production will start in two months time with Gal Gadot as Diana Prince also known as Wonder Woman, while Sean Bean and Eva Green are being eyed to play the roles of Ares and Circe, the villains.

"Wonder Woman" will be first seen by fans in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" gets released sometime in 2016. By 2017, she will be all by herself, and this is the first movie to be produced for the legendary heroine.

"Wonder Woman" production will start on November and will be set in different locations, namely, London, England and Rome, Italy. Themyscira, Wonder Woman's hometown, is said to be taking place in Basilicata in Italy, Cinema Blend reported.

"Wonder Woman" rumors have been spreading that the first part of the movie will be during World War I while the second half is set on the present day. If the rumors are true, the movie will bring into light the origins of the Amazonian demigod.

Wonder Woman's greatest rivals are Ares and Circe, and Sean Bean and Eva Green are being highly considered for the roles. Ares is the God of War while Circe is The Sorceress, Heroic Hollywood reported.

Chris Pine aka Trevor will be the lead male role in the movie and is the love interest of Princess Dianne. He is set to appear in different movies in the DC Cinematic Universe. Trevor, based on the comic books, was a pilot during World War II who crash landed on the home island of Wonder Woman. Though it is not clear yet on how the new movie will feature Trevor.

"Wonder Woman" will be directed by Patty Jenkins, while Jason Fuchs for the screenplay and the cinematographer is Hoyte Van Hoytema.

"Wonder Woman" will hit the movie houses by June 23, 2017.
