"Battlefield Hardline" will be made available this week, game publisher Electronic Arts (EA Games) recently revealed.
"Battlefield Hardline: Robbery" the DLC for the first-person shooter game is set to roll out on Wednesday, Sept. 16. However, according to post on the official "Battlefield" official Twitter account, the expansion pack will initially be made available only for Premium members. This means that gamers who are not Premium subscribers will have to wait a bit longer to enjoy the new content. PC Gamer reports that the rollout for non-premium members is set for Sept. 30.
"Battlefield Hardline: Robbery" will feature a lot of exciting additions to "Battlefield Hardline," the official announcement posted by Electronic Arts said. The "Robbery" DLC includes four new maps, namely Precinct 7, Break Pointe, Museum and The Docks.
"Battlefield Hardline: Robbery" will also be two new gadgets and four new weapons for players to utilize, as well as two new vehicles, new vehicle upgrades, plus vehicle paints. Gamers can also don new camos. Moreover, there is what is called "The Legendary Super Feature."
Aside from the new maps that gamers can explore and the gear and vehicles they can use,"Battlefield Hardline: Robbery" also has new challenges, particularly the Squad Heist, a 5v5 confrontation akin to the Squad Rush in "Battlefield 4." Here, gamers will have to go on a heist while facing the challenge of a combat scenario.
EA states, "Squad Heist feels refreshing and familiar. Built as an homage to the beloved Squad Rush in Battlefield 4, this mode combines the combat of Battlefield with the intimate fantasy of a classic heist."
Electronic Arts has yet to reveal the pricing details for the "Battlefield Hardline" expansion pack. For now, Premium members can look forward to getting first dibs on the "Robbery" DLC come Sept. 16.
"Battlefield Hardline: Robbery" will be playable on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
