During the season premiere of the "Dancing With The Stars" one of the most familiar faces was noticeably absent on the dance floor. We are talking about Kym Johnson.
Kym preformed in the several seasons of the said dancing show, but when she fell in love with her dancing partner and started dating Shark Tank millionaire Robert Herjavec during season 20 she seemed to go another direction. She chose not to return to ABC's dancing competition.
Last July, Daily Mail reported that during Kym's interview with The Morning Show about her new judging role on Australia's version of the "Dancing With The Stars," she confirmed her relationship with Herjavec. When asked if she was romantically involved with the Canadian businessman, she answered, "Yeah. He's lovely, he's great. He'll be at the first show watching and it's really lovely to have him here."
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Kym is currently in Australia as one of the judges for their version of the "Dancing With The Stars." At the time that the news came out that she will not be dancing on the new season of DWTS, rumors came out that she might be pregnant. Another rumor also came out that she's not dancing because ABC fired her.
Some of Kym's former DWTS co-stars said that ABC was not impressed of her relationship with her celebrity dancing partner. And this was one of the reasons why she was not invited for the next season. In some ways the network wants some flirting schemes among the couples because it helps boost press rating and create buzz about the show. However, "dating" is another story. The network find this way too "messy."
As to how it goes, it looks like ABC does not want to be involved in too much drama if the couple gets into a relationship. They don't want some messy high-profile scandals to get along the way. But it seems odd that Kym was no longer asked to join the new season just when she confirmed her relationship with Robert. With all these rumors circulating, which one do you think is possible?
