"StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void" expansion pack officially gets a release date. The pack is also said to contain an opening scene that is truly fantastic.
"StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void," the final chapter for the highly successful "StarCraft" game, will be released on Nov. 10. The game was originally released in 1998 and took 17 years to have a closure. The final expansion pack is entitled "StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void" and is the third on the "StarCraft II" series, Battle reported.
"'Legacy of the Void' provides an epic conclusion to a story more than 17 years in the making. It also brings tremendous enhancements to 'StarCraft II's' definitive real-time strategy gameplay, with new units, automated tournaments, collaborative game modes, and more. We can't wait for players to experience it all this November," as Blizzard CEO and co-founder, Mike Morhaime said, according to ComingSoon.net.
"StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void" news of the expansion pack also came with the release of the opening cinematic scene. Worthy for the final chapter of the game, it was also released to the delight of the fans.
"StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void" is more about the Protoss race recovering what is truly theirs, their home world. Players will be playing as Heirarch Artanis, the current Protoss leader, that is in control of of a dominant fleet to get Aiur back from its foreign invaders. The Spear of Adun, the commanding flagship, is also in dispose of the players.
After reclaiming Aiur, defeating Amon is next on the list. Players will try to fight it off with the master of hybrids, to protect the rest of the galaxy.
"StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void" Standard Edition is available for pre-order for $40. A Digital Deluxe Edition for $60, while a Collector's Edition will also be available in retail stores for $80.
"StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void" for PC will be released on Nov. 10.
