Samsung may be up with something early this time. Two models, rumored to be under Galaxy S7, may be revealed in February 2016 during the Mobile World Congress.
Samsung Galaxy S7 rumors, a certain "Project Lucky" went through Geekbench for some benchmarking score, though the score was not enough to surpass the Meizu Pro 5. The Meizu Pro 5, also known as Meizu Niux, is said to have an Exynos 7420 chipset and is set to be released on Sept. 25. The Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge+ and the Galaxy Note 5 all contain the Samsung build chipset, GSM Arena reported.
Just for comparison with their respective Geekbench scores, the Meizu PRO 5 multi core scored 5593, while the Galaxy S6 has a 5200 score under its belt. So, technically speaking, the Galaxy S7 should have a higher score than its predecessor. It is also noted that Samsung may release a 5.1-inch version, plus another bigger one, either a 5.7 or a 5.8-inch version. This is allegedly in comparison to the latest iPhone 6S and 6S Plus.
Samsung, the Korean tech giant, reportedly, will try to release its flagship phablet model in the early half of 2016, breaking from their traditional second half release dates. The next major event, again will be the MWC.
If the Samsung Galaxy S7 rumors are true, the upcoming Samsung model is said to be equipped with the forthcoming Snapdragon 820 chipset and Samsung's own Exynos M1. In relation to this, just recently, an AnTuTu benchmark test result was uncovered somewhere on the web and it states that a Samsung phone, named Lucky, equipped with Snapdragon 820 chipset has just been created.
Samsung Galaxy S7 test result also showed that the phone has 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM, a 5.7-inch screen with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution and Adreno 530 graphics. Plus, it comes with a 16MP and 5MP camera, BGR reported.
