"Game of Thrones" Season 6 Cast Updates & Spoilers: Who is Having a Big Family Reunion? PLUS! New Casting Call!

Leaks and spoilers continue to spill as HBO's biggest television series, "Game of Thrones," gear up for its sixth season. As previously reported, actor Freddie Stroma was recently cast as Dickon Tarly, Sam Tarly's younger and fitter brother. Now, according to new reports, it looks like the show will be giving Jon Snow's best friend much air time for the next season.

Business Insider reported that aside from Stroma, three more actors have been cast to join Sam's family. English actor James Faulkner, who was last seen on "Downtown Abbey," will be playing as Randyll Tarly, Sam's stern father. Joining him will be Samantha Spiro as Sam's mother, and up-and-coming actress Rebecca Benson as Sam's sister.

How this family reunion of sorts unfolds will be the interesting to watch, as very little is known about Sam Tarly's background both in the novels and in the show. In the finale of season five, fans saw Sam leaving The Wall to become a maester.

Meanwhile, the popular "Game of Thrones" fansite Watchers on the Wall has posted new photos of a new location for the show's on-going production. The crew are currently in Navarre, Spain, setting up on a dry, rugged plain, which fans believe would be a Dothraki scene. WOTW also noted that the production called for more than a thousand extras, specifying people of darker coloring, "with men willing to grow out their facial hair."

HBO also reportedly released a new casting call for two new particular characters. They're looking for a female actress, preferably middle eastern looking, aged 18-22, to play a "young widow." A male actor is also needed, described to play as a young warrior, between 20-25 years old. The call specified the need for a physically short, non-white actor with light brown skin.

Daenerys Targaryen was last seen being surrounded by a hoard of Dothraki warriors. Because of this, fans assume that the location plus the new casting requirements indicate that she will be spending more time with the tribe in season six. Emilia Clarke, the actress who plays Daenerys, has not been sighted on the location so far.
