"Final Fantasy VII" will be released in 2017.
The "Final Fantasy VII" remake announcement was made last E3 2015, and since then, Square Enix has been silent. Nothing was heard of any more about the franchise, until the recent reports that it is slated for a 2017 release.
"Final Fantasy VII" remake rumors suggest that one of the most anticipated franchises is currently still in development. It is still in its early stages, but fans are very happy that they were able to hear some news about their favorite game.
However, on a sad note, the G-Bike service has seen its better days and, according to the official website of the mini-game, the service will be stopped come Dec. 15 of this year. The reason--the developer cannot provide an adequate service any longer, Ecumenical News reported.
Square Enix is still doing some testing with the battle system. Experimentation is still ongoing on how to deliver a new fighting system that will make the remake stand out. Yoshinori Kitase, the game producer, has said before that the ancient turn-based system needs to be updated. So, at the moment, it is still in its trial and error stage.
"Final Fantasy VII" remake fans are willing to wait for the game. Several are actually hopeful that it would somehow include some of the fans wish list. These include a multiplayer mode and a new downloadable content (DLC) every now and then, according to an article by Game and Guide.
"Final Fantasy VII" remake may also use the Luminous Engine. This is the same game engine that was supposed to be used for the upcoming "Final Fantasy XV" and "Kingdom Hearts III" for some portions of it, before it was decided to be moved to the "Unreal Engine 4."
"Final Fantasy VII" remake fans are requesting for more updates as it sure is deafening not to hear anything.
