"Shin Megami Tensei IV: Final's" initial trailer for their newly revealed game for the handheld Nintendo 3DS was recently announced by Atlus. A lot of details came with the trailer, most especially the gameplot.
The "Shin Megami Tensei IV: Final" trailer provided players and fans a first glimpse of the game's hero in action with other characters, as well as some of the antagonists that will be included in the game.
"Shin Megami Tensei IV: Final" happens in the year of 203X, Famitsu announced through Siliconera. This is a time of heated conflict against the gods that started about 25 years prior to the opening of the game. Currently, a heavy wall of rock stood to conceal the sky. With the end of the war, a civil war took place in Tokyo. Now the people, who are ruled by demons and angels, are desperate to defend what little has been left of their world.
The "Shin Megami Tensei IV: Final" protagonist is voiced by Hiro Shimono. He is an apprentice of a society known as the Outlaw Hunters. He died taking a surprise blow from a demon while out on a mission. Afterwhich, he wandered all over the kingdom of Hades, and met the Majin Dagda.
The "Shin Megami Tensei IV: Final" protagonist eventually becomes a "God Killer" and had gotten back to life through the Dagda's powers. Once alive again, he discovered a new ability to beckon the demon by his smartphone, and together they face their enemies throughout Tokyo, which is now dubbed the "Demon Capital."
- Dagda is voiced by Shuichi Ikeda. Dagda found the protagonist wandering in the kingdom of Hades after his demise. The Demon God made a deal with him to make him a "God Killer."
- Asahi is voiced by Seike Tomoko. Asahi is a 15-year-old childhood girl friend of the protagonist. Like the protagonist, she too, is part of the Outlaw Hunters Society.
- Navarre is voiced by Shintaro Oohata. Navarre is the same one from the previous Shin Megami Tensei IV. He is now in the spirit world, and because Navarre failed to find peace after his death, he has a purpose of meeting the game's protagonist.
"Shin Megami Tensei IV: Final" will be rolled out for Nintendo 3DS in February 2016.
