Microsoft Surface Book Update: Out of Stock in Online Store, Except Amazon; 3,000 x 2,000 Touchscreen Display, i5, i7 Processor Worth It at $1,499

The Microsoft Surface Book has just been released and it is not cheap. Though expensive, the Surface Book is reported to be already sold out.

Microsoft Surface Book fans are growing in number so much that even the tech giant's online store cannot sell one anymore. And that is not all, all the variants of the Surface Book are not available in the United States' Microsoft online store anymore, although one can order through Amazon, Tech Crunch reported.

The Microsoft Surface Book is primarily a laptop that can be turned into a tablet if one wants to in opting for convenience. That must be the reason why people like it so much even with a high price point.

Surface Book specs are said to have a 13.5-inch 3,000 x 2,000 touchscreen display. It also comes with PixelSense technology that allows one or several users to share digital content in real time, as described by Microsoft in their page.

Microsoft Surface Book has two variants available. Both will either have Intel 6th Gen i5 and i7 processors that will come with a different GPU.  The An i5 variant will come with the HD Graphics 520 and an NVidia GeForce GPU with 1GB of VRAM.

Memory comes at 8GB of RAM, but can support up to 16GB. Storage capacity of the Surface Book will be 128GB, 256GB and 512GB, all SSD type.

Microsoft Surface Book's operating system will be the latest and that is Windows 10 Pro. Battery life is said to be good for 12 hours of video playback. For its photo snapper, a 5MP front-facing and an 8MP rear-facing camera can record 1080p videos.  It also includes a Surface Pen.

Microsoft Surface Book's price start at $1,499 and can go up as high as $2,699.  No date has been set yet for its release.
