The Duggars' return on television is almost here. TLC has finally released a sneak peek of Jill (Duggar) Dillard and Jessa (Duggar) Seewald's upcoming series of specials for the network, their comeback since "19 Kids and Counting" has been cancelled following their brother Josh's molestation scandals. After admitting to the charges, Josh shockingly revealed that his younger sisters Jill and Jessa were among his victims.
The new series, entitled "Jill & Jessa: Counting On," will document how the two Duggar sisters coped in the aftermath of their family's most shocking controversy. In the one-minute teaser, Jill and Jessa opened up about this particularly difficult point in their lives.
"We were devastated," Jessa teared up. "We couldn't believe it. You wonder, how did this happen?"
"You're angry and hurt and all those emotions all mixed together," an emotional Jill revealed. "I've cried a lot of tears. I still do."
Despite their troubles, the Duggar sisters are determined to look to the future.
"There's still a lot of exciting milestones ahead," Jessa shared.
Jessa, 22, is expecting her first child with husband Ben Seewald. Jill, 24, is busy with mission trips with her family to Central America.
"We will come out of this fire stronger as a family unit," Jill added.
"'Jill & Jessica: Counting On' follows the lives of the sisters as they navigate adulthood and the changes that come with it. From Jill & Derick making a major move to Central America with their baby boy Israel, to newlyweds Jessa and Ben preparing for their first child, we're excited to see what's in store for the young couples," its official synopsis reads.
As Realty Today previously reported, their brother Josh, who is still in rehab for his pornography addiction, will not make an appearance in the new series. It is possible that he will not be mentioned as well.
"Jill & Jessica: Couting On" premieres in December this year. Watch the promo below:
