Microsoft Surface Book earlier versions have already been pre-sold and it only took a couple of days. Now, Microsoft has unveiled a crème de la crème Surface Book that comes with massive 1TB storage as well as a massive $3,199 price tag.
Surface Book models that were released for pre-selling by the Redmond-based tech giant on their store contains 128, 256, and 512 SSD drives. A lot of consumers were amazed by the new Surface Book that a lot rushed in and pre-ordered their units when it was put up on Oct. 7, Ecumenical News reported.
Microsoft Surface Book also announced that the model will have a 1TB SSD variant during its unveiling, however, it was not available yet when they started offering the laptop. Reportedly, the 1TB model will come with an Intel Core i7-6600U 2.6 GHz dual-core processor with Intel HD graphics, a 16GB of RAM, and a dedicated NVIDIA graphics, Microsoft Store announced.
Other Microsoft Surface Book specs are standard to all models such as a 13.5-inch 3000-by-2000 resolution touchscreen display, Windows 10 operating system, the Surface Pen, an 802.11ac Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.0. It will also have two USB 3.0 ports, an SD card reader, a headset jack, mini-display port, a 5MP front-facing camera and an 8MP rear-facing one.
Customers who pre-ordered the new Surface Book will get their units after launch, specifically on Oct. 26. Regrettably, those who will pre-order the 1TB version will not have it right away. Microsoft will start delivering them by 2016, starting Jan. 22.
