Samsung's Flagship Phone Rumored to be Released on January 2016; Two Versions for the Galaxy S7

The next flagship phone of Samsung, the Galaxy S7, contains a lot of features. One recently added is called Clearforce, which is something similar to Apple's iPhone 3D Touch. It will also be coming in with three variants and will be protected by a Turtle Glass. Currently, it may be revealed earlier than previously reported, by next year. That is, if all the rumors are true.

The Galaxy S7 or the Project Lucy phone may be the first to have a new touch technology called ClearForce being developed by Synaptics, a famous tech company responsible for touch technology. Samsung, along with other tech companies has been included to be core partners of Synaptics, as reported by Ecumenical News.

ClearForce will be similar in functionality to Apple's 3D Touch but with more features that include variable speed controlling, screen unlock and wake up, gaming control and possibly a few more, the report continued.

It is also interesting to know that Samsung is planning to launch their flagship phone a month earlier than the previous launching dates. The Galaxy S6 and the S6 edge made their appearances on March 1 and the South Korean phone giant wants to release it as early as February of next year. Supposedly, to close the gap between Apple and Samsung's high-end phones, according to GSM Arena.

There are also a high-end and a low-end Galaxy S7 in which the design was finalized in September. The high-end will have the Exynos chipset with a built-in modem while the low-end will have the Exynos M1. It is also said to be incorporating a USB Type-C port, as the report continued.

Currently, not a word can be heard from the mobile tech giant with regards to the news surfacing on the internet, which is actually pretty common. Fans are still taking it lightly since it is too early to finalize anything with all this rumor.
