Apple fans are already wondering what iOS 10 would be. Even if the iOS 9 is relatively new, it still has bugs like the previous ones and has not been maximized.
There have been speculations about the features of the upcoming iOs version, but so far Apple has not given an official statement. After all, iOS 10 release date is yet to be confirmed. Early rumors say that iOS 10 might be revealed in June 2016 during Apple's WWDC. Beta testing reportedly will take place for a few months and will be eventually released to the general public come September 2016. iOS 10 might even be released together with iPhone 7, Macworld UK reported.
During the recent years, Apple has been working on its kernel security feature to stop the rampant jailbreaking of its devices. They have almost succeeded in iOS 9. It took the developers a while before they were able to release a jailbreak version of the recent OS. With rumors lurking around the probability of iOS 9 as the last iOS version to have a jailbreak version, iOS 10 may prove to be the company's first perfect, untouched OS yet.
Apple is said to be working on a rootless iOS 10, which will make it further impossible to jailbreak. With a rootless system, even administrator level users will not be able to access certain file systems. For jailbreakers, it will be a bane to update to the next generation of iOS.
A new feature of iOS 10 called iCloud Voicemail will further keep Siri busy. Siri will now be able to take a user's call when the owner is unavailable and transcribe the voicemail messages into text that a user can retrieve at a later time, Business Insider UK reported.
With iCloud Voicemail, Siri will also inform the user's caller the reason why the owner cannot answer them at that moment. Apple employees are reportedly currently testing this new feature.
iOS 10 is still a long shot from now and there will be a lot more rumors for the months to come. iPhone users who are looking forward to the latest iOs have yet to confirm these feature rumors and the official release date from Apple itself.
