Windows 10 Update: Xbox App Lets You Find Xbox Live Friends via FB; Dub, Narrate on Clips Activated; Download Games Minus Windows Store

Window 10 Xbox app beta version users will find the new app useful and nifty as the new built-in feature showcases the ability to find friends on Facebook who are on Xbox Live.

Window 10 Xbox app beta version users can activate this function, just link your Facebook account to the app and let the app do the work. Through this, you will get to see all your Facebook friends who are on Xbox Live and a recommended friends list will appear.

Microsoft stated that it was the most fan requested feature so the company has added the function through its Windows 10 beta version app, Xbox forums reported.

Added Window 10 Xbox features to the update is the ability to record your voice with the Game DVR videos, which you can dub and narrate over clips. This feature is very nifty especially to those who does game videos on Youtube.

Xbox beta app for Windows 10 now, on the other hand, has the ability to support code redemption to be used in the Xbox store which is also part of the app. The Xbox Store also received a makeover where you can download games directly to the console rather than passing through the Windows Store. This app can be download from the Windows Store where all players can find the new updates and changes for the Xbox beta app as well.

The Windows in-app store access shows a new navigation menu which is on the left side. It will open the store view in the app instead of the Windows Store app. This new look gives both Xbox Store and Windows Store easier app and information access. The store has the new search box and a "Play from console" button to view and launch the games that you have already purchased or owned.
