Lachlan Buchanan has been taken off contract from the daytime soap "The Young and The Restless." Elizabeth Hendrickson, who has just returned to the show, teases that more jaw-dropping events are happening.

It has been reported that there's going to be significant changes in the Y&R cast. Daytime Confidential has reported that Lachlan Buchanan (Kyle Abbott) has been dropped to recurring role after joining the CBS' soap opera in February this year. He is the third actor to play the adult version of Kyle.

"The Young and The Restless" fans have mixed reactions about his status change, which has been approved by a Y&R spokesperson. Some say they don't like him as Kyle anyway and that they should bring Blake Hood back. Others are disappointed saying that he's a good actor.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth Hendrickson who plays Chloe Mitchell, dished to Soap Opera Digest, as reported by Soap Opera Spy, that there's more drama coming with her return. Y&R fans have already seen Chloe put a gun to Adam Newman's direction and run down on him this week. She really wants to kill him as a revenge for the death of her daughter.

According to spoilers, a fire will erupt during the Halloween Gala at the Newman Enterprises and one of the speculations is the Chloe might be the one to set the fire. There are reportedly at least four characters who are going to die and it is speculated that she could be one of them.

However, she told Soap Opera Digest that there's still a huge plot planned for Chloe, so she's likely to stick around for a good while. When asked if the actress is considering being on a contract status, she said, "Possibly. I would have to consider the timing and storyline. I am very interested in general in portraying Chloe."
