‘Sword Art Online’ News, Updates: Season 3, Film, Game Lost Song; Season 4 About Alicization [VIDEO]

Avid gamers are absolutely anticipating the "Sword Art Online" season 3. On the other hand, release date speculations are teasing on a probable delay to summer next year, instead of speculated launch in the end of 2015.

Youthhealthmag reported, When-Will posts that season 3 may be delayed in summer 2016 and gamers assume that this may be because of the confirmation of an animated movie in development.

At the same time, Shinichiro Kashiwada, SAO producer hinted what gamers can anticipate in the third season, and has even verified that they will get to watch more Azuna and Kirito. During an interview with Anime News Network, Kashiwada said, "Personally, I would like to see the 'Alicization' arc because that's something that hasn't been done."

"So there are series like 'Uta no Prince Sama' and 'Love Live!' that sell more, while the sales are very important to me, it's really the desire to make something really important and interesting that fans can look forward to watching," he further discussed. "This is what's personally important to me."

In the meantime, gamers have more news to anticipate on "Sword Art Online" third season, more updates about the fourth installment already circulating online.

All the progressive novels are almost done, though; Kashiwata said that he wanted to do some more works, although he didn't disclose any more details about what else is in the works for season 3. There are rumors that season 4 will be on Alicization, Crossmap reported.

In other news about "Sword Art Online" the trailer for the forthcoming game was initially confirmed in the Tokyo Game Show has finally been launched, together with its official name, "Sword Art Online: Lost Song," "Sword Art Online: Lost Song" is set for release on the 17th of November, but fans can pre-order the game in the PlayStation Store.
