Gamers are in for an early holiday surprise. Several major games are set to be released before the end of the month and a few more by November. Specifically on Nov. 10, Microsoft's "Rise of the Tomb Raider" and "Fallout 4" by Bethesda, will be on a face-off.
Two major games on the same day. "Fallout 4" is one of the much awaited games of the year, while "Rise of the Tomb Raider" an Xbox exclusive, and Microsoft this time is assertive that theirs will be able to stand on its ground, Dual Shockers reported.
As Aaron Greenberg, Xbox's Product Manager, said, "We felt like the Fallout audience and game, while both fantastic games, they're not direct competitors per se. But it's two big, big titles launching at the same time and we hope people will buy both."
Greenberg also pointed out several factors that can greatly affect the sales for the games. First, if consumers will have sufficient funds, and second, sufficient funds to be able to purchase several game titles, as well as the several more titles that will be available before the release of Tomb Raider, Ubergizmo reported.
Some major titles that will rattle some cages are: the just released "Halo 5," around next week will be "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," and by the middle of November, it will be EA's "Star Wars: Battlefront." Some other games worth stating are "Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition," "Minecraft: Story Mode," "Need for Speed," "StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void," and, lastly, "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" for the PC.
Currently, nobody can really tell what will happen between the two. But rest assured, for the next few weeks, everybody in the gaming community will really busy. These, by the way are the major titles. There are minor titles that are scheduled for release as well.
