FOX's new comedy show "The Grinder" will have a full season with 22 episodes, says FOX President David Madden.

According to Madden, "The Grinder" has the right mix of family dynamics which everyone can easily relate to. He said it is also kind of razor sharp comic possessing two sure signs of successful comedies.

"The critics have embraced this original, fresh and funny show, and the talented cast - led by Rob Lowe and Fred Savage - has done such an incredible job infusing it with biting humor and heartfelt moments," Madden said in a statement. Lowe's role on the show - an actor who becomes a lawyer - is earning him some good reviews.

Together with the rest of the people behind the show, Madden talked about their excitement over the storylines, which the producers have carefully planned for the whole season.

Since its first season premiere, "The Grinder" has been profitable, raising the FOX's average in a given period of more than 70% among the adults with ages ranging from 18 to 49 compared to last fall, Newsday reported.
