Christian Today says that the 5th episode of "The Flash" season 2 will surprise the fans. This is because this season's roster of superheroes includes the female version of Doctor Light. Yet, contrary to the comics' alter ego Kimiyo Hoshi, the TV adaptation will have a different alter ego.
Report says that the spoilers of "The Flash" season 2 episode 5, titled "The Darkness and the Light," include the revelation of the true identity of Doctor Light. Her mask will be uncovered, and fans will see that she is Earth 2's version of Linda Park.
If remembered in the first season of "The Flash," the real Linda Park of Earth 1 had briefly dated Barry Allen. But the relationship never progressed because Barry still desired for Iris.
In episode 5 of "The Flash" season 2, there were several promotional images that have been released showing Linda Park crying. Rumor has it that there is also a big chance that "Doctor Light will not turn over to the good side." It has also been explained that "the Earth-1 Linda Park might gain her own powers and redeem the character by joining The Flash's team.
Franchise Herald also says that Earth- 1 Linda Park would be able to defeat her Earth-2 counterpart as she indeed gains powers of her own and eventually become part of "the Flash" team.
Obviously, It is not only Jay Garrick who breach the portal of Earth 2 to Earth 1. Dr. Wells of Earth 2 comes to Earth 1 through the portal and he has been seen in previous 2 episodes. But in the upcoming episode of "The Flash" season 2, fans have been teased that Barry & Joe would have a heart-to-heart moment with Dr. Wells, as reported by CarterMatt.
