iOS 9.1 and iOS 9.2 Jailbreak Update: Will 1.2.0 be the Last Successful Jailbreak from Pangu?

iOS 10, the next Apple operating system to be released, will have a better security feature, which means that it will be harder to jailbreak the new mobile operating system. It seems that Apple has made its statement correct as early as now, as Pangu has not released any jailbreak version for iOS 9.1 and iOS 9.2 yet.

iOS devices' most popular jailbreakers are from Pangu, a well-known Chinese team. Though there are already several iOS 9 jailbreak versions in the open, they still do not work with the latest releases, namely the 9.1 and 9.2. The last working Pangu jailbreaking tools seem to have worked with iOS 9 until 9.0.2, but they stopped there.

Other iOS devices jailbreak teams are also suffering the same fate as Pangu. They were all stumped as to how to bypass the security features that Apple had included with its latest mobile operating system.

Having a jailbreak version of an iOS means that one can install third party apps, paid or not, into any iOS device. This jailbreak option favors mostly those users who do not want to purchase the paid apps available on Apple's App Store, as well as enables them to install apps that are not available from the store, Bidness ETC reported.

The last Pangu jailbreak version that was successful was the 1.2.0 which worked flawlessly with several iPhone models, such as the iPhone 4S to 6S. They also work with iPad 2 to 4, iPad Air 1 and 2, all iPad Minis, and iPod Touch's fifth and sixth generation.

iOS users who want to try out Pangu's version have to prepare the following, a Windows 8.1 Enterprise loaded machine, iTunes version 12.3.1, and of course, the Pangu 9 1.0.2. Also, one may look for a systematic guide on how to do it, IBTimes has provided a guide to follow.

iOS jailbreaks void the warranty.
