'Mortal Kombat X' News: Players Can Now Play As Classic Goro or Noob Sailbot By Using Skins from PC Modders

Something new and interesting is coming to "Mortal Kombat X" ahead of the next DLC batch.

According to Design and Trend, creative "Mortal Kombat X" fans have taken the initiative to come up with skins that allows the players of the fighting game to dress up as either Classic Goro from the original "Mortal Kombat" or Noob Saibot. A certain YouTuber named Dynasty has discussed in detail in a 4-minute video the mods that have been shared in the Mortal Kombat Secrets forums. The YouTuber reportedly has revealed that the skins have been available for quite some time now but it was only now that the skins have received considerable attention.

The "Goro" skin here is similar to the classic Goro in "Mortal Kombat", with the iconic white shin guards red ribbon belt and yinyang-design buckle that he first sported when he appeared in 1992. The mod is just a skin and does not bring the character who bears the skin any boost in performance. The other skin pertains to Noob Saibot. He first debuted as an NPC in Mortal Kombat II as a silhouette. This skin is nothing more but Sub-Zero turned black.

It has been noted that skins only serve aesthetic performance and it does not enhance or boost player skills or strengths. The bearer of the skin will not have any advantage over the other player.

On the other hand, According to VG 24/7, Prince Goro was previously confirmed as a playable character for "Mortal Kombat X" but only to those who pre-ordered the game before the fighting game was released in the Month of April 2016.

"Mortal Kombat X" is available for PS4, Xbox One and mobile platforms. And those who do not want the skins can wait for the next DLC Kombat Pack that will be released some time next year.
