Disney World Opens 'Star Wars' Theme Land During Holidays; Space Mountain Indoor Roller Coaster Will Be Redesigned To Become Hyperspace Mountain

"Star Wars" fans and Disney Park goers will completely adore the thought of the opening of the all time most loved American epic space musical drama film "Star Wars" in all Walt Disney World Resort Attractions. It will be opening during the Holidays.

Disney World, named as the happiest place on Earth, has announced that the opening of the theme land for "Star Wars" will be in December, along with the celebration of the upcoming "Star Wars Film: The Force Awakens."

"Star Wars" themed land will be displayed on different Disney attractions, Disney's Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World in Florida, and the Disneyland Park in California, USA Today reported.

"We said what kind of Star Wars experience do we want in a kids space. Can you imagine piloting it, having the little common room with the holo-chess table. And so we started there and we met with our partners at LucasFilm who threw us some great ideas, and so it just started kind of building on itself," said Danny Handke to Orlando Sentinel.

Millennium Falcon, based on the legendary and heroic space ship in the classic film will be one of the highlights. However, no dates have been announced yet from the production teams of the most anticipated ride.

Disneyland will likewise hold another event on November 16th to celebrate the intergalactic film phenomenon. One of the features is the "Star Wars" exhibit which will include an interactive experience with the different characters as well as the props from the film.

Disney World goers can have the chance to join the rides featuring movie-themed footages, at the same time an X-wing starfighter. The Space Mountain Indoor Roller Coaster will also be redesigned as the Hyperspace Mountain. Disney World has not given any official starting date yet, but on Dec. 18, the upcoming film will be released.
